If you’d like your videos to look their best on YouTube, here are their recommendations in the graph on the left. You can also find recommendations on this page.(click here)
I usually change my AVI files to MOV files uses QuickTime Pro and use h.264 with orignal frame rate. Depending on the length of the video I will change the bit rate to make sure my video stays under the 1 GB limit. Usually around 1500 kbs.
Higher Quality on YouTube

&fmt=18.
If there’s a better quality video available, you’ll get it.
Note – it’s too bad that WordPress limits us to the low quality version.
