Security Settings for Internet Explorer

Steve Gibson of GRC’s “Security Now” program has some great security recommendations for locking down Internet Explorer even if you use Firefox. The details are on the link above, but the main idea is to set the security level to high for both Internet and Local intranet and then only set your trusted sites to: *.windowsupdate.com and *.microsoft.com. You can certainly add other sites, but these are the only ones needed to update your computer.
