Free Phone Calling and Receiving

I’m glad I’m not in the phone business these days since it’s getting so competitive.  Now you can call people and receive phone calls directly from your computer. I’m not talking about computer to computer, but computer to any type of phone in the U.S.. I’m using Google Voice which requires a download and install. If works great most of the time, but I did find out that you need a microphone plugged into my laptop for it to work. The internal microphone is not enough. What’s also nice is that Google Voice gives you a choice of local phone numbers to pick from. The only catch is that you need to keep your computer turned on to receive calls, but mine is usually on anyway.
