Restoring Deleted Files – Windows 7

Every once in a while I will delete a file and then later wish that I had it. It may be in the Recycle Bin, but sometimes, it’s not. In Windows 7 you have a way to restore that file/folder with relative ease. You do need to turn on System Protection for this to work. (Control Panel – System and Security – System protection.)

1. Right click on a folder and choose – Restore Previous Versions.

2. Click on the Folder which has your file and then open it up, copy it, restore the folder- your choice.
