Google Drive – Offline

While Google Drive is the way I keep most of my new files, when you don’t have internet access, it can be a bit aggravating when you can’t get to your files.

Even if you have setup Offline Sync, when you go to click on a file in Explorer, it’s really only a link to the file and nothing happens when you are offline.

Here’s how to view and edit those files.

  • Open up your Chrome browser.
  • Type in drive.google.com
  • Now you will have access to all your files even when offline.
